PERSONAL Emily Marie Day was born August 9, 1987, in Long Beach, Calif... daughter of Joan and Bob Day... has one sister, Laura, and one brother, Gregory... also recruited by Yale and Sacramento State, but chose LMU because of the location, academics, competitive volleyball program, and small class sizes... an applied mathematics major with a minor in business.
