Emma Johnson is in her first season with LMU beach volleyball...
A 2016 graduate of Campolindo High School in Moraga, Calif... three-year varsity letterwinner playing for coaches John Vuong and Dave Chen... served as team captain in her final year... first team All-American as senior while taking home All-State and All-CIF honors... helped her team to a second-place finish in NCS in 2013, 2014 and 2015... played with NorCal Volleyball Club from 2012-15 and Xceleration Volleyball Club in 2016, helping NorCal to junior nationals appearances in her final three years.
Emma Johnson... daughter of Janet and Kirk Johnson... father played water polo at UC Davis... has one sister, Lydia, and a brother, Matt... chose LMU because she fell in love with the community and the team when she came on her first visit as a sophomore... spent a week in Tijuana, Mexico during her freshman and sophomore years of high school building houses with Amor for families in need... a psychology major.
