Ashley Maxfeldt is in her third season with LMU volleyball...

2012... appeared in 19 matches for the Lions, starting three, as a sophomore... dished-out 265 assists at a rate of 4.49 per set... managed four service aces and collected 10 kills over the course of the year... averaged 1.15 digs per set after posting 68 digs... served up a pair of aces against UConn to open the 2012 season... first career double-double came on September 9 at High Point (20 assists/12 digs)... career-best 32 assists came against Virginia Tech on September 7... narrowly-missed a double-double on September 15 against Xavier, teaming 21 assists and nine digs... posted a pair of kills with a block assist against Gonzaga on October 27...

2011... appeared in 20 sets and 13 matches for LMU as a freshman... dished-out 82 assists at a rate of 4.10 per set... season-high 19 assists came in her first match played on August 27 against Quinnipiac... also served-up three of her four season aces in that inaugural match...

A 2011 graduate of Bonita High School in LaVerne, Calif... a four-year varsity letterwinner... served as team captain as a junior and senior... three-time All-Area selection... Division III CIF Player of the Year in 2009... earned Miramonte League Most Valuable Player honors as a junior... first team All-League selection in all four of her varsity seasons... listed (#92) on the Senior Aces Top-100 volleyball players list in 2010... garnered a spot on the 2010 Under Armour High School All-America watch list in 2010... guided her team to a 22-5 overall record and a perfect 12-0 mark in the conference as a senior... helped her team to the CIF Final in 2009, the Semifinal in 2007, and the Quarterfinal in 2008 and 2010...

Ashley Marie Maxfeldt was born June 5, 1993, in Upland, Calif... daughter of Cheryl and Willie Maxfeldt... has one brother, Matthew... recruited by TCU, Wichita State, Arizona State and Arizona, but chose LMU because she considers the school to be a perfect fit for her, and the volleyball program had everything she wanted... a sociology major.
