2017... second team All-WCC selection... posted a 17-13 overall record with partner Jessie Prichard, including going 5-4 at the #2 spot in the order... also managed a 9-8 record at #3, and a 3-0 record at #4... closed the year having won seven of the last 10 matches overall... opened the year on a four-match win streak...

2016... posted a 9-16 overall record playing a majority of her matches in the fifth position... eight of her nine victories came while paired alongside Kristen Castellanos... Kovac won three of her four matches in the WCC Tournament while paired alongside Castellanos...

A 2015 graduate of Eden High School in Ontario, Canada... three-year varsity letterwinner playing for head coach Albino Pereira... garnered All-SOSSA in her senior year -- the first year that the team was recognized... served as team captain in each of her final two seasons... guided her team to the 2015 Provincial Championship after earning a spot on the Ontario Provincial Team in 2014... one of the top amateur players in Canada, she has been a Canadian National Developmental Program prospect for two years prior to coming to LMU... named Eden High School Athlete of the Year in 2012 and 2013, and MVP of her team in each of her final two campaigns... played on the club level with Niagara Rapids Volleyball... also competed in track and field in high school...

Sara Kovac... daughter of Mika and Predrag Kovac... has one brother, Philip, and a sister, Ema... chose LMU because the coaches are great, she really liked the girls on the team, the volleyball is played at a very high level, and she loves the location... a mathematics major.
