LMU reached the final match of the 2017 WCC Beach Volleyball Championship.

2017... WCC Freshman of the Year... first team All-WCC and member of WCC All-Freshman team... posted a 20-11 overall record, including a 20-9 mark with partner Sarah Sponcil while playing at the top spot in the order... duo went 19-8 in team matches and 1-1 in tournament play... Slattery/Sponcil reached the quarterfinals of the USA Volleyball Collegiate Championships... finished the year 9-1 over the last 10 team matches, including topping the top pair from #3 Pepperdine twice...

A 2016 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, Calif... three-year varsity letterwinner playing for coach Kristin Dolan... served as team captain in her final year... two-time All-League selection... helped guide her team to the CIF Southern Section Division I playoffs all three years, including a semi-final finish in 2013... led her team in kills each of her final two seasons... All-Tournament selection at Redondo Classic Southern Section... played with LAVA South Volleyball Club... named to the 2016 Senior Aces "the 150" list... 2014 USA U17 Elite 10 National Beach Team member and a 2015 USA U19 Elite 10 National Beach Team member.

Savannah Slattery... daughter of Madonna and Kevin Slattery... father played baseball at Cal State Northridge... has one brother, Christian... chose LMU because it's close to home, the opportunity to play both sand and indoor volleyball, the coaching staff, and the beautiful campus... a business major.
