Swimming Earns CSCAA Scholar All-America Selection

The College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) recently announced its Scholar All-American Teams for Spring 2016, and LMU Swimming ranked tied for 104th on the list amongst 172 Division I women's swimming and diving programs with a team GPA of 3.34.

Sweet 16s Highlight of 11th Annual Iggys

A pair of trips to the NCAA Sweet 16 was the highlight of the 2016 Lions Athletic Fund Iggy Awards on Wednesday, April 28th at the DoubleTree LA Westside. Women's volleyball and women's soccer, who had historic runs in the their respective NCAA tournaments, were part of the many honors recognized at the 11th Annual Iggy Awards.

PCSC All-Conference Honors Announced

Based on performance at the 2016 Pacific Collegiate Swim Conference Championships earlier this year, three LMU swimmers earned first team All-PCSC honors and seven more earned second team selections.

Women's Swimming Earns APR Public Recognition Award

LMU women's swimming received an APR Public Recognition Award from the NCAA, the organization announced on Wednesday. The Lions were lauded for posting an Academic Progress Rate in the top 10 percent of all schools nationally in the sport.

LMU Finishes Third at 2016 PCSC Championships

Calton Sets Program Record, Abbott Wins B Final

Junior Hannah Calton set a new program record and took home a second-place finish in the 100 butterfly, while freshman Marley Abbott won the B final in the 100 breaststroke at the 2016 Pacific Collegiate Swim Conference Championships on Sunday from East LA College.
