05/11/2013 Lions Honor 75 on Commencement SaturdayAnnual Commencement Breakfast honors 75 graduating student-athletes on Saturday morning. 04/30/2013 History Makers Highlight 2013 Iggy AwardsAll-time leading scorer Alex Cowling claimed Female Athlete of the Year while Colin Welmon and Anthony Ireland shared the Male Athlete of the Year honor. 04/10/2013 Thirteen LMU Swimmers Named MPSF All-AcademicThirteen LMU swimmers took home MPSF All-Academic honors. 02/27/2013 Trio Named MPSF All-ConferenceCamille Hopp, Rachel Dekar and Kjirsten Magnuson all earned second team All-MPSF. 02/23/2013 400 Medley and 100 Breaststroke Records Fall, Magnuson, Dekar, Hopp Earn Top-Eight FinishesA trio of Lions posted top-eight finishes at the MPSF Championships. 05/11/2013 GEN | 2013 GraduationStudent-Athlete reception prior to the 2013 Undergraduate Commencement Ceremonies 02/09/2010 2009-10 Women's Swimming2009-10 Women's Swimming Photos BRIEFLY AT LMU 2010-11... had another strong season after recovering from shoulder surgery in the spring, scoring in all three individual events at the MPSF Conference Championships... placed 13th and notched a personal-best in the 50 freestyle with a 23.70, making her the fifth-fastest sprinter in LMU history... also placed 11th in the 100 breaststroke and 12th in the 200 breaststroke... swam on LMU's sprint freestyle relays at conference, helping the Lions to a third-place finish in the 200 freestyle relay and a fourth-place finish in the 400 free relay... picked up wins for the Lions in the 200 breaststroke during the dual season against Northern Colorado, USD and Fresno State... also played on the women's water polo team, scoring one goal during the 2011 campaign... 2009-10... made an immediate impact on the program becoming the fastest breaststroker in LMU program history by shattering both the 100 and 200 program records while placing second in both races at the PCSC Championship, both in personal best times... earned PCSC All-Conference honors and selected as LMU's Freshman Swimmer of the Year... also won the consolation final (ninth place) in the 50 freestyle with a personal best time scoring 76 individual points in the championship meet... led off the lion's record breaking 200 freestyle relay which lowered the existing PCSC Conference and LMU program record... also swam the breaststroke leg on LMU's 200 and 400 Medley relays which placed second at the conference championships... won the 100 breaststroke against University of Hawaii and CSUN... HIGH SCHOOL PERSONAL
