LMU will travel to the MPSF Championship this week.
The LMU swim team will compete against UC Santa Barbara and Pacific in a final tune-up before the MPSF Championships.

Elaine enters her third year as an assistant coach for LMU in 2014-15. Her guidance during the 2013-14 season resulted in seven new school records, five All-MPSF honors, multiple top-eight Conference finishers, and 15 MPSF All-Academic honorees. In Spring 2014, the CSCAA named the LMU Women's Swim Team as a Scholar All-America Team which exemplifies the women's success academically.
During the 2012-13 season, Elaine helped guide the Lions to a successful season at the 2013 MPSF Conference Championships including new school records in relay, individual medley, breaststroke, and freestyle events. In addition to athletic success, the team had 13 MPSF All-Academic honorees.
Elaine has over 14 years of coaching experience with various USA Swimming Clubs in Ohio, Texas, and California. Her coaching experience in the Elite Longhorn Swim Camp helped develop a foundation for her coaching style - combining discipline, hard work ethic, technique, and passion. Elaine also serves as a Masters Swimmer and Coach for the LMU Master's Swim program. Her recent accomplishments was earning a National Title at the 2013 USMS Summer National Championships in the 50m Freestyle.
As an athlete, Ferritto set multiple school and state records as well as a National Public High School record in the 200 Medley Relay for Upper Arlington High School. Her career continued at The University of Texas from 2003-2007 where she earned All American honors (2004-2007), Olympic Trial qualifying times (2004 & 2008), NCAA appearances (2003-2007), Big XII Team Championships (2003-2006), and individual honors in the 200IM, 400IM, 100BK, 200BK, and 800FR relay. Elaine also served as team captain for 3 consecutive years.
Elaine graduated from The University of Texas with a degree in Communications (Radio-TV-Film) and a minor in Business in 2007. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Finance and Marketing at LMU (Class of 2016). She currently resides in West Los Angeles with her husband, Ian.
