Yvonne Le is in her fourth season with LMU swimming...

2010-11... All-MPSF Scholar-Athlete and Academic Team selection... made it back to the finals in all three individual events at MPSF Championship, placing 19th in the 100 butterfly, 21st in the 200 butterfly and 22nd in the 200 IM, all season-best times... swam the butterfly leg on the 400 Medley relay, helping the Lions to a third-place finish and new program-record over three seconds faster than the existing record... won the 100 butterfly in a dual meet against UCSD to help secure a victory over the strong rival by two points...

2009-10... selected to the All-Conference team for the second straight year placing eighth in the 100 butterfly at the PCSC Championship... also placed 13th in the 200 backstroke and 17th in the 200 individual medley, contributing 45 individual points at the championship meet...

2008-09...an All-Conference swimmer in her freshman year... became one of LMU's most versatile swimmers winning the 100 butterfly at the PCSC Championships with a new LMU program record of 57.17, a personal best... also placed sixth in the 200 IM and 200 backstroke events contributing 70 points to the team score at championships... won the 100 and 200 butterfly races in dual meets against UOP, Fresno Pacific, CSUB and Seattle University...

A 2008 graduate of Lake Travis High School in Austin Texas... was a four-year letterwinner in high school... served as team captain in her senior year... named All-City, All-Area and All-State in all four years of competition... first team All-American as a junior and senior and second team as a freshman and sophomore... State Champion in the 200 IM...

Yvonne Qui Le was born on February 28, 1990 in Poughkeepsie, N.Y... parents are Tuyet and Hung Le... has one brother, Khoa, and two sisters, Vian and Kristi... also looked into by University of San Diego, University of North Texas, UC Davis, Pepperdine, Texas A&M and University of Miami, but chose LMU because of the small school and good learning atmosphere... majoring in biology.
