Lauren Saylor is in her second season with LMU swimming...

AT LMU
2010-11... had a breakout freshman year for the Lions, improving personal-best times in the 50 and 100 freestyle events with a 24.90 and 54.67, the latter a two-second drop in time... also swam the 200 freestyle event for the first time during the season, showing great improvement by dropping from a 2:11.45 in early season to a 2:00.58 at the Conference Championships...

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2010 graduate of Bishop Amat High School in La Puente, Calif... a four-year varsity letterwinner... served as team captain in her sophomore and senior years... garnered All-League as a senior... named League MVP in her final campaign... set a school record in the 50 freestyle event and placed seventh at CIF championship... also competed in soccer...

Lauren Michelle Saylor was born on May 18, 1992 in Fontana, Calif... parents are Lillian and Cameron Saylor... has a sister, Candice, and a brother, Cameron... was recruited by Pepperdine, Santa Clara, Cal State Fullerton and UC Irvine, but chose LMU because of it's commitment to academics and faith... a business major.
