With the first day of the PCSC Championship Meet in the books, LMU sits sixth overall in the team standings with 125 points. UC San Diego leads the pack with 282 points, followed by Azusa Pacific at 243, and Fresno Pacific with 227.
The Lions competed in three events on Wednesday, first entering the water in the 1000 freestyle. There, Lanna Kozlowski registered a time of 10:31.49 to claim 13th overall and contributed 14 points to the Lion score. Keara Reilly followed in 15th with a time of 10:36.52, flanked by teammate Lauren Akin at 10:37.35 to earn 16th overall.
Reilly's time is good for sixth all-time in LMU history.
Swimming a pair of relay events, LMU took eighth in both races to gain 44 points apiece. LMU's A relay in the 200 medley turned in a time of 1:46.90, while the 800 free relay registered a mark of 7:41.65.
