Eleven LMU swimmers reached evening finals on Thursday night, as LMU put three in the 500 freestyle and eight in the 50 freestyle events. After two days at Splash! Regional Aquatics Center in La Mirada, LMU sits sixth with 241 points. UC San Diego leads the pack at 603 points, followed by Fresno Pacific University (493) and Cal State East Bay (403.5).
Lanna Kozlowski, Keara Reilly and Lauren Akin each reached the C Final in the 500 freestyle, with Kozlowski taking 19th overall in 5:07.37. Reilly followed in 5:11.21 to place 22nd overall, and Akin took 23rd at 5:11.75.
Three Lions earned a spot in the B Final, with Taylor Anderson earning a share of 11th overall with a time of 24.21. Alyce-Faye Eichelberger took 14th overall in 24.23 after swimming a 24.22 in the morning preliminaries. Isabel Willis claimed 15th overall with a mark of 24.24.
Junior Marley Abbott won the C Final with a time of 24.43, while Caitlin Ryan finished two spots later with a time of 24.72. The D Final featured Anna Gasiorowski, as the freshman stopped the clock at 24.96. Finally, LMU put two swimmers in the E Final, with Farah Stack posting a time of 25.40 (34th overall), followed by Natalie Morlock in 36th at 25.43.
The final event of the night was the 200 freestyle relay, as LMU's A relay took fifth overall in 1:36.31.
