Los Angeles, Calif. - Seeing its first competition in well over a month, Loyola Marymount swimming will host its first dual meet of the season this Friday when San Diego visits the Burns Aquatics Center. The first race is scheduled for noon.
LMU's last competition came at the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) Invitational on December 3-4, when the Lions finished third of 14 teams. San Diego however, was back in action last Friday, when the Toreros hosted the USD Quadrangular Invite.
The Lions have received a boost this season from their class of newcomers, comprised mostly of freshmen, which currently holds ten of 14 season-best event times. With just three competitions remaining before the PCSC Championships open on February 16, the Lions will look to pick up where they left off in 2004 on Friday against San Diego.
