Thirteen LMU Swimmers Garner MPSF All-Academic Recognition
LMU placed 13 swimmers on the All-Academic team.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The LMU swimming team placed 13 student-athletes on the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic team, it was announced by MPSF Executive Director, Al Beaird, on Thursday.
LMU's Sophie Allen, Christina Cannata, Tammy Choy, Jill Dahle, Stephanie Hess, Camille Hopp, Michelle Horgan, Yvonne Le, Angelina Prat, Terry Rinder, Lauren Saylor, Mary Kate Short, and Noelani Vargas each were lauded.
In order to be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must meet the following criteria:
1. 3.00 or better cumulative grade point average.
2. Student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically.
3. Student-athlete must have completed one full academic year at the institution prior to the season for which the award is being received.
4. Student-athlete must have competed in fifty percent or more of the institution's competition in the student-athlete's respective sport.
