Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Executive Director, Al Beaird, has announced the MPSF All-Academic Scholar-Athletes for the 2013-14 women's swimming and diving season. Fifteen LMU swimmers earned a spot on the list, the second-most of any MSPF school.

Lauren Saylor (3.74), Maddie Vanderpoel (3.67), Stephanie Schuffels (3.66), Mary Kate Short (3.65), Hailey Chisholm (3.59), Angelina Prat (3.56), Kjirsten Magnuson (3.56), Sofia Abrate (3.56), Isabel Casso (3.53), Mary Kate Reid (3.31), Kristen Clarno (3.26), Kristen Brennand (3.18), Marlena Nip (3.16), Rachel Dekar (3.11), Diana Safa (3.06).

In order to earn a place on the MPSF All-Academic team, swimmers must meet the following criteria:

1. 3.00 or better cumulative grade point average.

2. Student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically.

3. Student-athlete must have completed one full academic year at the institution prior to the season for which the award is being received.

4. Student-athlete must have competed in fifty percent or more of the institution's competition in the student-athlete's respective sport.
