Sophomore Lanna Kozlowski took home Pacific Collegiate Swim Conference Division I Athlete of the Week honor, it was announced by the conference office. Kozlowski and the Lions posted a victory over Seattle University on Friday.
The weekly selection is the second of the year for LMU, as Isabel Willis was lauded on October 6.
In Friday's double-dual meet, Kozlowski earned valuable points in LMU's close battle with Seattle U, placing second overall in the 500 freestyle (1st vs Seattle U) with a time of 5:16.19 and placing fourth in the 400 IM (2nd vs. Seattle U) with a 4:44.74. Kozlowski's points contributed to LMU's thin margin over Seattle U, 105.5 to 96.5.
On Saturday Kozlowski picked up a couple of third-place finishes in the distance freestyle events, first swimming the 1000 Freestyle in a time of 10:54.00. She returned in the 500 Freestyle posting a time of 5:17.13. Seattle U. was the victor in the dual with LMU on Saturday winning by a score of 114-90.
The Lions will now host San Diego and UC Davis in a double dual on Sunday at Noon.
