Day 2 began as we woke up at 7:15 and took a short drive to the ocean for our first open water workout of the trip. We saw lots of fish and a whale! Once back on shore we went boogie boarding and exploring for a couple of hours before heading back to the house for lunch.
Once we got back for lunch, some people went to the grocery store to prepare for the red team’s dinner tonight. After relaxing around the house for a couple hours, we headed to the pool for our second practice of the day. Once we arrived at the pool, we split into groups by stroke and had a great workout that ended with some fast 50s off the block.
After practice, the red team came home and prepared a dinner for the whole team and the coaches. It was a yummy meal with chicken teriyaki, and to finish, a pineapple upside down cake. Yum!
After a quick meeting to discuss the practice plans for the morning, we all went to our rooms and got ready for bed and the next day ahead of us!
