Members of the LMU women's tennis team will travel to Long Beach State this weekend to participate in the Beach Tennis Tournament from the Rhodes Tennis Center. Wisconsin, Montana, Grand Canyon, Portland State, UCLA, Cal State Northridge, Cal State Fullerton, LMU and Long Beach State will all have players competing over the three-day event.

Junior Jessica Perez enters the 2015-16 tennis season as the #123 singles player according to the ITA Preseason Rankings. The native of Laguna Niguel, Calif., has also been selected to participate in the 2015 Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships, opening play in pre-qualifying singles.

LMU Athletics Director Dr. William Husak announced today, Tuesday, July 28, the hiring of Agustin Moreno as head coach of the women’s tennis program. Moreno is coming off nine-plus seasons leading South Florida’s program, guiding them to a pair of conference championships and six NCAA tournament appearances.
