Went 11-17 overall in singles...played the majority of her matches at the #4 singles...went 15-12 as a doubles player, including 4-4 in WCC play..Had a 6 match win streak after defeating #40 USC...Won back-to-back WCC Doubles Team of the Week Awards (Mar. 14 and 21, 2017) with Siobhan Anderson...Earned All-WCC Doubles Honorable Mention...Named to WCC All-Academic Team
Went 6-12 overall in singles...played the majority of her matches at the #5 singles, going 4-6...was 9-10 as a doubles player, including 4-5 in WCC play.
Went 17-18 overall in singles play, including 11-13 in dual matches...was 6-5 in tournaments...6-8 at #3 singles...finished 3-3 in doubles matches against WCC teams, and collected 12 total doubles victories...4-8 at #2 doubles and 3-4 at #3...won her first four matches of the year, including winning her flight at the Long Beach Tournament...went 2-0 against #16 Pepperdine and #55 Portland while teamed with Jessica Perez at #3 doubles, earning WCC Doubles Team of the Week...won three of her last five singles matches on the year...posted victories over opponents from #73 UC Irvine, #68 Arizona, #69 Utah State, and #55 Portland.
Attended the Stevenson School in Pebble Beach, Calif...went undefeated during the regular season in high schools singles over the course of the 2013 season, finishing as a CIF Central Coast Section singles semi-finalist...earned team MVP all four years of high school...a NorCal Girl's 16's top-10 player, she finished as a USTA sectional 16's finalist in 2011...equally as developed as a doubles player, she won a level three national in 2013 after reaching the CCS doubles final with current Lion teammate Logan Finnell as a freshman...Romeka also won a 2012 California Open event playing in the doubles bracket...named to the Academic Honor Roll in all four years of high school while carrying a 3.8 GPA.
Anna Romeka was born on March 7, 1996 in Monterey, Calif...the daughter of Christina and Donald Romeka...mother played tennis at Santa Clara University...has one brother, Johnny...chose LMU because of the academics, location, athletics program and all-around great environment and community...a marketing major.
