Ellie Grossman is in her third year at LMU after transferring from the University of Southern Mississippi...

Went 8-25 overall as a singles player, including 6-16 in dual matches, but 4-5 in WCC contests...was 4-7 when playing #5 singles...won two of her first four matches on the year...picked up a victory in each of her final two decisions during the year...posted a win over an opponent from #75 Gonzaga and #69 San Francisco...

Went 12-7, including 7-3 in WCC play, during singles play...recorded a 3-1 record at #5 singles and a 9-6 mark at #6...recorded a pair of five-match win streaks, including a victory at #6 singles over then-No. 59 Santa Clara on March 16...also managed a victory over an opponent from #51 BYU...competed primarily with Lauri Mueller during doubles play, finishing 4-12 with Mueller and 5-13 overall as a doubles player...did manage a 2-0 mark in doubles at #3...

Grossman attended South Eugene High School in Eugene, Oregon for her first three years before transferring to New Braunfels High School in New Braunfels, Texas... While at South Eugene, she was a three-year varsity letter winner under Coach Andrew Pritchard...she was captain of her team twice...named Southwest League All-Conference three years in a row...

Grossman was born on June 23, 1994 in Hong Kong, China before later moving to Eugene, Oregon...she is the daughter of William Grossman and Kuei Ying Chang...father played baseball at Brown University...has one brother, James, who plays baseball at Brown...was recruited all across the country...chose Southern Miss before transferring to LMU...chose to come to LMU because of the academic reputation and location...she is a finance major...
