At LMU... 2005-06... knee injury forced her out of most of 2006 season... she went 4-5 on the year, all coming in the fall campaign... she went 3-3 as a doubles player... 2004-05... named All-WCC honorable mention in singles... finished with a 10-4 dual record in doubles with Erin Ivey... teamed with Hubl to defeat Anderson and Lindstrand of San Diego 8-4... also had a doubles victory with Hubl in first round of WCC Championship over Skogerboe and Tiegs of San Francisco... had doubles victory over Sedivec and Nurmi of No. 58 Colorado... posted frist career win at the No. 1 spot against Victorian Vaynkery of Syracuse 6-3, 6-3... had doubles victories over No. 67 LBSU and No. 75 Santa Clara... recorded singles victory over Dita Hauerlandova of 68th-ranked San Diego State 6-7, 6-3, 10-5... 2003-04... An All-WCC honorable mention selection in singles and the WCC Doubles Team of the Month in February with partner Patrycia Hubl... shared the team lead in wins with Patrycia Hubl with 17... was 12-12 in doubles... gave LMU singles wins over fourth-ranked North Carolina and 14th-ranked Fresno State...

Graduated from Troy High School in Fullerton, Calif., in 2003... played four seasons of tennis for coach Donna Judd... played at number one, number two and number three singles at Troy... a four-year letterwinner in tennis... was named All-Sunset League as a senior... was named MVP all four seasons... was a league finalist in 1999 and 2001 while winning the doubles title in 2002... ranked 28th in 18's and 26th in 16's in Southern California singles...
Personal... Serena Anne Fermin was born in Artesia, Calif., on Sept. 20, 1985... she is the daughter of Dulce and Alvin Fermin... has two sisters, Veronica and Clarissa, both of whom play tennis... Veronica plays tennis at UC Irvine... played against teammates Robin Baker and Erin Ivey while playing for Troy High School... a biology major.
