Los Angeles, Calif - The LMU women `s team is back at home this weekend for a pair of conference dual matches, starting with Pacific on Saturday and then Saint Mary's on Sunday. The Lions enter the weekend at 7-12 overall and 1-5 in the WCC.

Pacific is currently 1-4 playing in their first season in the West Coast Conference. Saint Mary's is at 4-1 in the WCC, one game out of first place. Beyond their WCC play, Saint Mary's is currently ranked No. 41 in the ITA National Rankings, and their top singles player is ranked No. 10 in the nation. Jenny Jullien is currently 14-1 at No. 1 singles for the Gaels and is the reigning WCC singles player of the week.

LMU's top singles player for much of the year has been Kristine Kouyoumjian. At No. 1 singles, she is very capable of causing trouble for her stronger opponents. She has already defeated then No. 44 UC Irvine's top singles player and San Diego's top singles player this season. Jullien will be the highest ranked opponent Kouyoumjian has faced in her young, two year collegiate career.

At the bottom of the lineup, sophomore Ellie Grossman has been a sure thing on Court 6 for the Lions this season. The Eugene, Oregon native has won four singles matches in a row and has won nine of her last ten decisions. On Court 5, senior Reka Rohonyi is coming off a 2-0 weekend in singles with wins over Portland and Gonzaga. Miya Jin and Lauri Mueller each had a critical singles win in last Friday's victory over Portland as well.

You can catch Saturday's match at 1:30p.m. at the LMU Tennis Center and Sunday's senior day match at 12:00p.m.
