Competing alongside Washington State's Michaela Bayerlova, sophomore Eva Marie Voracek captured the doubles title at the Jablonec Women Open 2018 in the Czech Republic.

The duo began the run with a 7-6(6), 6-4 victory over Natalie Suk (USA) / Anna Vrbenska (CZE) in the round of 16. Advancing to the quarterfinal and a match against top-seed Petra Krejsova (CZE) / Yulia Kulikova (RUS), the pair outlasted the favorite in a three-set tie-breaker, 4-6, 6-3, 10-6.

The road to the title was equally as challenging over the final two matches, as Voracek-Bayerlova inched past third-seed Kristyna Hrabalova (CZE) / Barbora Miklova (CZE), 4-6, 7-6(6), 10-5, to advance to the final.

The Championship Match pit the duo against #4 seed Radka Buzkova (CZE) / Aneta Laboutkova (CZE), and after a hard-fought 7-5, 4-6 first two sets, Voracek and her partner managed a 13-11 victory in the tie-breaking third stanza to claim the title.

In her first year with LMU, Voracek advanced to the Round of 16 at the Division I Doubles Championships while teamed with Veronica Miroshnichenko, eventually finishing the 2018 season with a 23-8 doubles record. The duo was named first team All-WCC at the conclusion of the regular season.

Proving herself individually in singles, Voracek compiled a 20-7 overall singles record and a 5-0 mark in WCC play while competing at #2 in the order. Voracek managed a 13-3 record in dual matches this year en route to earning a spot on the All-WCC second team.
