LMU women's tennis head coach Jamie Sanchez, who enters his 40th season at the helm of the program this year, recently completed his incoming recruiting class with the addition of Kylie Waschuk. Waschuk, who prepped at Vincent Massey Collegiate, is a native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Waschuk is ranked in the top-12 amongst Canadian junior girls for the 2014 graduating class, and earned a #37 Canadian junior rank on January 3, 2014. The 5'9 standout athlete advanced to the round of 16 at both 2013 U18 Canadian Nationals, eventually taking losses to the top-seeded player in both championships. Currently considered the top-ranked Manitoba/Saskatchewan junior girl, she won the singles event at the 2013 Manitoba Open, while earning a doubles championship in 2010 and 2013. She finished 5-2 serving as Team Manitoba's top singles player at the 2013 Canada Summer Games, which feature the top Canadian juniors players. Waschuk participated in 11 Canadian Junior National Championships from 2008-13, including twice earning a seed in the tournament.
