Continuing its fall season, LMU women's tennis will head to the 2017 Beach Tennis Fall Tournament hosted by Long Beach State this Friday through Sunday. The tournament will be played at the Rhodes Tennis Center.
Juravliova will open play on Friday with an 11 a.m. match in Flight A against Karla Portalatin of Cal State Fullerton. Anderson will compete in Flight B, drawing a first-round bye, but she will also play a one-off match against Grand Canyon's Mya Etienne on Friday at 11 a.m. before returning to her bracket.
Tumosa will play in Flight C, opening singles play with a match against Bianca Bostrom of Montana on Friday at 2 p.m. Finally, Romeka will compete in Flight D of the singles, opening play against Autum Prudhomme of Grand Canyon on Friday at 12:30 p.m.
On the doubles side, Romeka/Anderson will face Dinkelmeyer/Elhadj of Cal State Northridge on Friday at 10 a.m. in Flight A. Juravliova and Tumosa will also begin doubles play at 10 a.m. on Friday, drawing a split pair of Maher/Valk from Montana and PSU in Flight B.
Fans should be advised that with the Long Beach Marathon running on Sunday morning, access to Rhodes Tennis Center will be impacted.
