The LMU women’s tennis team will conclude its fall season this week, traveling to San Diego, Calif. for the ITA Southwest Regional co-hosted by San Diego and San Diego State from the Barnes Tennis Center in Point Loma.

The Aztecs and Toreros will host 13 other teams, including Arizona State, Hawai'i, UC Santa Barbara, University of Southern California, UCLA, Cal State Northridge, Cal State Fullerton, Pepperdine, LMU, UC Irvine, Long Beach State and Grand Canyon University.

LMU will send seven players to the tournament, as Yesica De Lucas, Eva Marie Voracek, Camila Tumosa, Anna Romeka, Siobhan Anderson, Veronica Miroshnichenko and Sofiya Gaisina will all compete in singles play.

Anderson/Romeka, Miroshnichenko/Voracek, and De Lucas/Tumosa will team to compete in doubles play.

Complete results from each day of the Southwest Regional will be posted on GoAztecs.com.

LMU most recently competed at the Beach Tennis Fall Tournament from October 6-8. There, Romeka highlighted another strong weekend of play from LMU women's tennis, winning Flight D of singles. Romeka wasn't the only Lion to win a championship match, as Elvira Juravliova and Camila Tumosa teamed to win the Doubles B bracket.

Following play at the ITA Regionals, LMU will return to action after the new year, traveling to USC for a 1:30 p.m. match on January 19.
