LMU Women's Tennis Takes On Matador Invitational.
Bliss Nixon and Jasmin Heckel are the top seeds in their respective brackets.

Los Angeles, Calif - After an impressive showing at ITA Regionals, LMU Women's Tennis takes on the Cal State Northridge Matador Invitational this weekend. Teams competing this weekend include, host Northridge, WCC opponent Pepperdine, Fresno Pacific, UC Santa Barbara, Master's College, Cal State Bakersfield, Cal State Fresno, Boise State, and Brigham Young.
Tina Razloznik and Audrey Bulkley will face a pair from BSU in the opening rounds of the Women's Open Singles A bracket. Razloznik will face Lauren Megale while Bulkley will face #4 player in the bracket, Pichittra Thongdach.
Jasmin Heckel is the top ranked player in the Women's Open Singles B bracket. She will receive a bye in the first round and face the winner of the CSUB's Kaydee Graham and UCSB's Sofia Novak on Friday at 1:00p.m. LMU's Jane Pringle will also competing in open singles B. Pringle will take on the #3 player in the bracket, Asagi Onaga of Santa Barbara.
Bliss Nixon and Shauna Morgan are the #1 and #2 players in Women Open Singles C. Nixon will also receive a bye in the first round and face the winner of Julie Onishenkoa and Karina Akhmedova. Morgan will take on UCSB's Jean Chaichanaichaicharn at 11:30 a.m. on Friday.
Estelle LaPorte is the only Lion competing in the Women's Open Singles D draw. She is the #2 player in this bracket and will face another opponent from UCSB, Chelsea Mosser.
The team of Bulkley and Razloznik will compete in the Women's Open Doubles A draw. They will face a team from BYU, Doerr and Hayasaka, in one of the first matches of the day.
Heckel and Morgan are the #2 team in Open Doubles B. They will face a team from UCSF, Bullock and Injejikian.
LaPorte and Nixon will receive a bye in the first round of Women's Open Doubles C. They will face the winner of CSUB's Hughes and Thorneycroft and Santa Barbara's Chaichanaichaicharn and Fukusima.
The opening matches begin Friday at 8:30 am and run through Sunday. Go Lions!
