AT LMU 2007... played in 14 matches and 29 games in her junior campaign... collected a career-high six kills on seven attacks against Columbia on September 8... posted a career-best 14 attacks on August 25 against Michigan State... 2006... played in four matches as a sophomore... posted two kills, four blocks, and one assist against Jacksonville in the Miami Hurricane Invitational... 2005... played in six games and five matches for the Lions... played in two games against Southern Methodist with two kills and six attacks...

HIGH SCHOOL a 2005 graduate of Mary Star of the Sea in San Pedro, Calif... graduated with a 3.7 grade point average... earned All-CIF and Daily Breeze All-South Bay team selections in 2004... a four-year varsity starter and a three-time first-team All-League pick... played club volleyball for South Bay and current LMU coach Larry Smoot...

PERSONAL Lindsay Angela Banas was born March 5, 1987, in San Pedro, Calif... daughter of Deidre and Stephen Banas... has two sisters, Emily and Abby... also recruited by Idaho, Georgetown and Notre Dame, but chose LMU because of the volleyball program and education... a business marketing major.
