Brubacher is a 1999 graduate of Horizon High School in Scottsdale, AZ?a four-year volleyball letterwinner?the 1998 Scottsdale Player of the Year and Northeast Valley Player of the Year?a Volleyball Magazine Freshman Fab-50 selection and third-team All-American ?named to the All-Desert Valley Region team as a junior and senior?led team to the state Final Four in 1998?honored as the Desert Valley Region Most Valuable Player?a first-team All-Arizona 5A pick following her senior campaign?served as team captain as a senior?prep coach was Valerie McKenzie.
