Claire Gillespie begins her first year at LMU…is an excellent defender who can also contribute offensively…knows no fear when defending the net…her offensive and defensive capabilites give the Lions much needed depth.

Gillespie is a 2001 graduate of Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach, CA…a two-time letterwinner in volleyball…led team to a first place CIF finish as a senior…senior squad also placed third in the state and second in the nation…prep volleyball coach was Carrie Bush.
