First-year head coach Aaron Mansfield announced the hiring of Natalie Morgan and Ben Lee.

The 2018 season marks the second year for Natalie Morgan as an assistant coach with LMU volleyball.

Morgan spent part of her 2018 summer coaching with USA Volleyball's Collegiate National Team program, serving as an assistant coach on a tour of China. Over the 10-day trip, the U.S. finished 4-1 overall against professional teams from the Chinese Volleyball League.

No stranger to the USA Volleyball pipeline, Morgan has also worked with the 2016 USA National Team and Pan Am Cup Teams as they prepared for international competition. Building her skill set, she served as a Technical Assistant at the Women's National Team tryouts and as a Technical Coordinator with the Collegiate National Team in 2015.

In her first year with LMU in 2017, Morgan helped the Lions to a 16-13 overall record, including a 9-9 mark in the WCC to earn a share of fourth place in the conference standings. The Lions featured six players who took home WCC All-Academic honors, while three more earned All-WCC selections. Playing an extremely tough schedule, eight of LMU’s 13 losses came to a team that at least received votes in the AVCA poll. The WCC leader in service aces with 202 (1.87 per set), LMU finished the year ranked sixth in the nation in the category - posting the fifth-most aces in LMU history.

Morgan came to LMU from the University of Nebraska, where she had served as the Technical Coordinator for the Huskers since 2014. Her stint with Nebraska includes three NCAA Tournament appearances and a National Championship in 2015. While in Lincoln, Morgan held sole responsibility for all film breakdown and statistical analysis.

Prior to her move to Nebraska, Morgan, who missed the 2010 season due to injury, played the 2011 season at Oregon State. After her redshirt freshman year, Morgan settled into a coaching role with the Beavers, serving as Assistant Director of Volleyball Operations and assisting with practice setup, Data Volley operation and statistical analysis.

Throughout her career, Morgan has served as a Collegiate Summer Camp Coach, including stints with Nebraska, American University, UC Berkeley and Oregon State. On the club circuit, she has served as a Head Coach with Volleyball Club Nebraska since 2014, and worked as the 12 Elite Head Coach with BOSS Volleyball Club in 2012 and 2013.

In addition to her time at Oregon State, Morgan has played competitive beach volleyball up and down the west coast and spent a stint with the University of Sydney Club Volleyball Team in 2015.

Morgan earned her degree in exercise and sports science from Oregon State in 2014 before finishing a Master of Arts in Education Psychology from Nebraska in 2016.
