Briefly

Elizabeth Samson begins her third year at LMU…a two-year letterwinner…has the advantage of having been in the program and learned the system…helps give depth to the squad’s core of defensive specialists.

At LMU-2001-Sophomore

Appeared in nine matches, recording a season high two games versus both Colorado (Sept. 1) and San Francisco (Oct. 13)... recorded both an attack and a dig versus the Buffaloes.

At LMU-2000-Freshman

Saw action in 11 matches…appeared in 22 games…recorded a season-high eight digs and six blocks against Duke (Sept. 16)…had one service ace against Wyoming (Sept. 23).

High School

Samson is a 2000 graduate of Mitty High School in San Jose, CA…a two-time letterwinner in volleyball…as a defensive speccialist earned the MVP and coaches award as a freshman…prep volleyball coach was Jason Curtis.

Elizabeth Sara Samson, “Liz”, was born in Stanford, CA on June 25, 1982…the daughter of Samuel and Patricia Samson…has one sister, Rebecca…lists wakeboarding and skiing as her hobbies…names her favorite vacation spot as Hawaii…an accounting major.
