The LMU volleyball team (14-14, 8-10 WCC) suffered a sweep at the hands of San Francisco (13-15, 9-9 WCC) in the final match of the 2013 season, falling by scores of 27-25, 25-22, 25-21 on Saturday afternoon in San Francisco's War Memorial Gym.

Senior Kathleen Luft finished her collegiate indoor career with a match-high tying 12 kills, equaling the output from San Francisco's Ester De Vries. Junior Litara Keil had 11 kills for the Lions, while Katarina Pilepic managed 10 on 13 swings with just three errors for a .538 hitting percentage for the Dons.

San Francisco's block proved impressive on Saturday, as the Dons posted 10 team blocks behind two solos and two assists from Pilepic. The Lions managed six team blocks, guided by senior Felicia Arriola with two block solos and two block assists in her final collegiate indoor appearance.

With the season in the books, LMU will now wait for the announcement of the All-WCC teams and begin training for the spring beach volleyball season.
