Volleyball to Face Alumnae on Saturday
The Lions welcome volleyball alumnae back to Gersten Pavilion this Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

Los Angeles, Calif. - Loyola Marymount volleyball kicks-off its season this weekend against some familiar faces when the 2004 squad takes on the alumnae team in Gersten Pavilion. With accomplished alumnae returning for Saturday night's 7:30 p.m. match-up, the evening promises to be an exciting look at the LMU program's past and present.
Saturday's contest will give LMU fans a preview of the upcoming 2004 campaign which features the return of honorable mention All-American Kelli Nerison and co-captains Nicole Oehlman and Dina DeBernardi and newcomers Kacey Knauf, Jania Motton, Audrey Francis, Keri Anglin, and Heather Hughes. After advancing to the second round of the NCAA Volleyball Championship in 2003, the Lions enter this fall with a preseason ranking of 18th in the nation.
The current squad will face off against a team of accomplished alumnae from Head Coach Steve Stratos' 14-year tenure. The alumnae roster features Kea Kimball, Dana Bragado, Mardell Wrensch, Kim Blankinship, Tracy Holman-Duffey, Jeannette Hecker, Heather Vinck, Allison Gustorf, Liz Samson, Lydia Day, Lisa Wenker-Agnelli, Sarah Noriega, Kristen Gallup, Cindy Weglarz, and Kerry House.
Admission to the Alumnae Match is free of charge.
