No. 22 Women's Volleyball Stunned By No. 4 Colorado State

    Los Angeles, Calif., Sept. 22, 2000 - The 22nd-ranked Lions dropped their second consecutive match, 3-0, to No. 4 Colorado State (15-1, 15-3, 15-10), in just 57 minutes at the Golden Dome Invitational held at the Joyce Center in Notre Dame, Ind. LMU's only offense came from outside hitter Sarah McFarland who tallied just 17 kills on 52 attempts.

    The Lions (8-3 Overall) were completly shut down by the Rams (13-1 Overall) only able to put up a positive hitting percentage in game three (.182). Game one saw LMU hit a dismal -.115 while in game two the Lions averaged a .000 hitting percentage.

    LMU looks to come out of Notre Dame, Ind. with a win as it takes on Wyoming in the final day of competition. The Lions and the Cowgirls face off at 5 p.m. CT.
