#22 Loyola Marymount Defeats San Diego in Four Games

    San Diego, CA - The University of San Diego women's volleyball team was defeated by the #22 ranked Loyola Marymount Lions tonight at the Jenny Craig Pavilion. The Lions took the match in four games (15-8, 15-8, 12-15, 15-9). Loyola Marymount improves to 16-7 overall and 6-3 in the West Coast Conference as the Toreros fall to 9-12 overall and 3-6 in the conference.

    San Diego was led by sophomore Noel Frohman, recording 17 kills and 14 digs. Senior Adrian Frediani contributed 14 kills and junior Lindsey Lampert added a 13 kill/14 dig double-double versus the Lions.

    The Lions were led by Sarah McFarland, recording a match high 30 kills and 24 digs. Jaimee Brubacher added 15 kills and 12 digs for LMU.

    San Diego will travel to Gonzaga for their next West Coast Conference match. The Toreros will play the Bulldogs on Friday, November 3rd in a 7:00 PM match.
