Junior middle blocker Litara Keil was named West Coast Conference Player of the Week after guiding the LMU volleyball team to a 2-0 record last week in conference play, including victories over Portland and Gonzaga.

Keil hit .492 with 39 kills on 61 attacks with only nine errors over the two matches, averaging 5.57 kills per set. She turned in 22 kills on 33 attacks with only four errors (.545) on Thursday against Portland before collecting 17 more kills on 28 attacks (.429) on Saturday against Gonzaga. Keil also added a service ace and three block assists against Portland.

The WCC Player of the Week selection is the second of the year for LMU (Kathleen Luft - September 23), and the first of Keil's career.
