Water Polo Championship at LMU Begin Thursday

The inaugural season of the Golden Coast Conference comes to a close, and will do so with the 2014 GCC Championships hosted by Loyola Marymount University at the Burns Recreation and Aquatics Center on April 24-26 in Los Angeles. Seedings for the first-ever GCC Championship are set and action begins Thursday at 12 pm.

Women's Water Polo Ends Regular Season Friday

LMU women's water polo will wrap-up the regular season on Friday, April 18 when they travel to No. 6 UC Irvine for a 7 pm start. The Lions are 19-11 on the season while UC Irvine is 20-7.

Lions Get Pair of Saturday Wins

LMU women's water polo concluded play within the Golden Coast Conference with a 13-5 win over Azusa Pacific on Saturday afternoon. The Lions also picked up a 16-3 non-conference win over Chapman, improving to 19-11 overall and 5-1 in the GCC.

Water Polo Falls to No. 3 USC in Rare TV Game

LMU fought back to within a goal late in the second period on the road to defending champion and third-ranked USC at Uytengsu Aquatics Center on Thursday. However, the Trojans went on a 9-1 run to put the game away, winning 14-5 in a non-conference match-up.

Busy Week Starts with TV Game at USC

LMU women's water polo will play a three-game week, including its first-ever regular season appearance on television, playing third-ranked USC on Thursday, Apr. 10 at 4:30 pm. The game will be televised on Pac-12 Network.
