Briefly... Kristin Benedetti is in her third season of collegiate water polo at LMU in 2012-13... third member of family to play water polo at LMU... played club water polo for Stanford Club, coached by Kyle Utsumi...

AT LMU... 2011... played in seven games in her first season of college water polo... scored two goals with two steals...

High School... Graduated from Saint Francis High School in Mountain View in May of 2010... played three sports at Saint Francis (water polo, swimming, basketball)... was team captain for water polo team as a senior and went on to earn all-league honors... had 31 goals, 73 assists and 48 steals... was named Palo Alto Daily News Second-Team All-Conference, and San Jose Mercury News Honorable Mention All-Conference.

Personal... Kristin Marie Benedetti was born in Santa Clara, Calif., and is the daughter of Helen and Steven Benedetti... has three brothers and one sister... brother Brian played the men's water polo team while sister Kimberly is a junior on the team... a Psychology major.
