2007 WWPA Championship - Title Game

LMU women's water polo wins their sixth WWPA championships in seven years with 5-4 overtime win against UC Davis.

Briefly... Kaylee Caster is in her second season of competition at LMU after transferring from San Diego Mesa College in January of 2006... practiced with the squad but could compete in the 2006 season at LMU due to transfer rules...was named the LMU Newcomer of the Year and was an honorable mention All-WWPA selection... will take a redshirt in 2008...

At LMU... 2007... ranked 9th in the nation in saves with 307... allowed just 218 goals while playing in every game as the starter... has a goals against average of 7.14... had career-best 15 saves in win over Michigan (2/22/07) and allowed just 10 goals at the 2007 WWPA championships... made 13 saves including four in overtime of WWPA title game win over UC Davis (4/29/07)... made 29 saves at the NCAA tournament... At SDMC... was a starter in goal for coach Jim Fegan in the fall of 2005...

At High School... graduated from USD High School in May of 2005... played all four years at USD High School, earning three letters for coach Sean Green... was a two-time All-CIF goalie and was a first-team All-American as a senior...

Personal... Kaylee Kimberly Caster was born in San Diego, CA... she is the daughter of Denise and Brian Caster... has two sisters and one brother... older sister attends LMU... a Studio Arts/Multi Media major.
