Briefly... Kristine Cato is in her second season at LMU after serving a redshirt season at USC during the 2008-09 season... played club polo for LAWPC, winning 2010 Women's 20U and Open titles, claiming the 20U MPV honor...

At LMU... 2010... among the nation's top-10 with 338 saves and a goals against average of 6.43.. had 21 games of 10 or more saves, including 29 saves at the NCAA Tournament... had best game of career with 12-save performance in 5-4 win over No. 1 UCLA at NCAA tournament... had four 16-save games... had 15 save games in wins over ranked San Diego State and Princeton...added 20 steals and 14 assists on the year...

Cato was a 2008 High School All-American at La Canada High School and also a 2008 Junior Olympic All-American where she played for Coach Witt with the Los Angeles Water Polo Club... at LAWPC, she helped the team win the 2008 Alberta Open and took home honors as the tournament's top goalie... She was named first-team All-CIF as a senior and was a two-time league MVP... She was named the 2008 Player of the Year by the Pasadena Star News as the La Canada won its league championship in 2008... She recorded 371 saves as a senior.
