Briefly... Morgan Bonk is in her fourth and final season of collegiate water polo at LMU... comes from a water polo family... played for the club team Windy City in high school and for LAWPC during summer, winning Gold in 2010 Women's 20U and Open...

At LMU... 2012... played in every game for the second straight season, scoring 30 goals on 54 shots... her 55.6 shooting percentage was third on the team... she added 29 steals and nine field blocks on the year... had eight goals in a two-game stretch in WWPA play, scoring four in wins over CSUSB and CSU (3/16/12)... scored a pair of goals in the first round win over Colorado State at the WWPAs... 2011... played in all 35 games for the Lions on the season... scored 27 goals on 54 shots (50 percent)... added 20 steals with seven assists and three field blocks... scored in 21 games overall on the season... more than doubled her stats in every category from her freshman season... 2010... played in 18 games as a true freshman, scoring six goals in 15 attempts, including a pair of goals against Sonoma State to start the season on Feb. 6... she added two assists with six steals and three field blocks...

High School... Graduated from Fenwick High School in Oak Park, IL... won eight varsity letters, four in swimming and four in water polo... was team captain for the swim team as a senior... was a four-time all-conference and four-time All-State selection in water polo... was named the 2008 Illinois Player of the Year... led team to three state titles (2006, 2008, 2009) and a state runner-up (2007) trophy... was a three-time high school All-American... finished in the top-10 in the 200 and 400 Relay for the swim team...

Personal... Morgan C. Bonk was born in Chicago, Ill., and is the daughter of Katie and Michael Bonk... has four sisters and a brother... older sister Emily played water polo at Santa Clara while older brother played club water polo at Miami of Ohio... a Communications major.
