Briefly... Rosanna Tomiuk will compete in her second season of collegiate water polo at LMU but is a junior academically... played for the Canadian National Team this summer and at the Commonwealth Championships this January...

At LMU... 2005... started all 37 games for the Lions and was fourth on the team with 44 goals... scored seven goals in the NCAA Tournament to be named to the All-Tournament team... scored three goals in the wins over Wagner (5-14-05) and Michigan... (5-15-05)... finished regular season with a shooting percentage of 35.5... added 27 steals and nine assists... had 11 games with multiple goals... had five games with a hat-trick... had three goals in three games during the WWPA championships...

High School... attended Beaconsfield High School in Montreal before attending John Abbot College and Lower Canada College (grade 12)... member of junior women's water polo team in 2004... MVP at junior women's water polo club nationals in May of 2004... member of All-Star team at junior nationals in 2004 and 2003... gold medalist at FINA Women's World Water Polo Championships... competed at Junior Pan American Games in 2002... a gold medalist at juvenile Girls' Water Polo Nationals in 2000, 2001 and 2002...

Personal... Rosanna Mae Tomiuk was born in Pointe Claire, Quebec, Canada... she is the daughter of Lynda and Jean Thomas and Olaf Tomiuk... step-father, Jean, played water polo at Sir George William's University... has two brothers and a sister... a biology major.
