Stevenson High School in 2004 with a 4.0 GPA... a four-year letterwinner while playing for father, Jeff Wimer... was a two-time team captain... was named Pioneer Press Northern All-Area all four years... also named all-conference all four years of high school... was a three-time All-American at Adlai Stevenson, earning honorable mention honors as a sophomore, second-team honors as a junior and first-team honors as a senior... was named Pioneer Press Player of the Year... named team MVP in 2003 and 2004... was the team's leading scorer all four seasons, earning IHSA All-Academic Honors in 2003 and 2004...
