BAKSERSFIELD, Calif. - The seventh-ranked LMU women's water polo team earned another sweep against Western Water Polo Association foes, winning all four games at the CSU Bakersfield Roadrunner Invitational over the weekend, including a pair on Sunday.
The Lions were dominate from start to finish against the host Roadrunners, earning a 14-6 win thanks in large part to six goals from sophomore Alexandra Honny. LMU then jumped out a big lead and then held on for a 12-10 win over Colorado State in the final game.

Honny had three more goals in the win over Colorado State, giving her nine on the day and 17 for the tournament. Against CSUB, it was her second six-goal game of the season.
In the finale, the Lions jumped out to an 8-3 lead and then held off a fierce rally by the rams.
