GCC Release

LOS ANGELES – As Loyola Marymount prepares to face three nationally-ranked programs this weekend in Hawaii, the Golden Coast Conference has picked the No. 22 Lions to finish third in the conference. LMU picked up the remaining first place vote after last year’s GCC Title Game Champion Pacific took seven of the eight and was picked to win the conference with 49 points.

The Lions are a point behind San Diego State in the poll, with the 2017 regular season champions earning 40 points and LMU sitting at 39.

Fresno State finished with 30 points and Azusa Pacific received 21 points. California Baptist and Santa Clara sit even in the six spot with 19 points apiece, while Concordia rounded out the conference with seven points.
