LOS ANGELES -- The 2013 college water polo season is a month in, and Lions' All-Access continues its Inside the Lions Spotlight on this year's LMU women's water polo team. As the season progresses, the Spotlight takes a look at the 13 newcomers on the roster, up next is freshman Kingsley Hill.
Just four years after picking up the sport for the first time, HIll finds herself playing college for a top-20 program. The life-long swimmer, Hill realized she like the aggressiveness of the sport and by her sophomore year she was playing club and on her way.
Influenced by her father, who played football at San Jose State, and her club coaches, Hill went on to become a three-time All-CIF selection at Pioneer High School. She wasn't too bad a swimming and basketball either, earning all-league honors in the later before moving to water polo full-time.
As she navigates her first year of college as a Biology major, Hill has leaned on the closeness of her teammates. Listen to the entire interview on Lions' All-Access.
Up next for the Lions is the 2013 UCI Invitational, Feb. 23-24 at UC Irvine..
