Game #12 - Coyotes Posted 14-2 Win

Los Angeles, CA (April 24) - Cal State San Bernardino closed the second day of the 2004 Western Water Polo Association Championships with a 14-2 win over Cal State Hayward in game 12 on Saturday afternoon at Loyola Marymount University.

The Coyotes improve to 23-15 and advance to the fifth place game to face Santa Clara at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday. Cal State Hayward falls to 15-20 on the year and will play Chapman in the seventh place game at 10:15 a.m.

CSUSB, playing in their second game of the day, made it look easy, scoring eight unanswered goals to start the game to post a quick 8-0 lead. They would take an 8-1 lead into the lockerroom and would score another six in the second half. Royce Rahn led all scorers with four goals for the Coyotes. Shannon Lewison added three. Alissa Larimer had both goals for Hayward.
