Click here to download the 2011-12 cheer application form.
The primary goal of every individual in this organization is to exemplify and enhance the true meaning of Lion Pride at Loyola Marymount University. The Cheer Team at Loyola Marymount University lends their support to LMU's athletic teams. The co-ed squad and mascot creates an exciting environment for Lions fans by cheering and entertaining.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the LMU Cheer Team, here are some things you need to know:
- Being a member of the Cheer Team requires a yearlong commitment, with practices/camp starting before school begins (early August). As a member of the Cheer Team, your first priority must be the squad, placing second only to each individual's academics. Being a member of the squad must be a commitment above all other activities and work schedules.
- No scholarships are available for squad members. Cheer is considered a non-scholarship sport.
