Athletics Taking Nominations For Next Hall of Fame Class
LMU to induct 17th class into Athletics Hall of Fame this fall.

LOS ANGELES - LMU Athletics is currently seeking nominations for the Athletics' Hall of Fame Class of 2013, which will be announced this fall and then officially inducted in ceremonies in the Spring of 2013. This will be the 17th class inducted into the Hall of Fame.
The LMU Athletics' Hall of Fame began in 1986 and has inducted a new class every other year since 2001. The Class of 2011 included Kate Murray (women's basketball, 2004), Edit Pakay (women's tennis/cross country, 2003), Arturo Torres (men's soccer, 2002), Kevin Witt (men's water polo, 2002), the 1950 Loyola football team, and the 1989 women's rowing four that won a national championship.
Since its establishment in 1986, the LMU Athletics Hall of Fame has served to inspire and educate students, faculty, staff and alumni by honoring the outstanding athletes and teams of the past. The Hall of Fame includes representatives from a wide range of past and present University sports dating back to the 1920s. Those honors in the Hall of Fame have achieved outstanding success in their athletic career at LMU and reflect the values and philosophy of LMU.
